1. Strategic Analysis and Action

The company declares whether or not it pursues a sustainability strategy. It explains what concrete measures it is undertaking to operate in compliance with key recognised sector-specific, national and international standards.

cosnova's global mission is the basis of our actions. Our trustworthiness, our good reputation and our credibility as a company with its globally operating brands and the resulting convinced, loyal customers provide the foundation for long-term success. To ensure this long-term success, companies must continuously and intensively address the environmental, economic and social impacts of their day-to-day operations. Corporate social and ecological responsibility is very important to us, which is why we strive to combine our economic success across all areas of the company as well as in the value chain with our partners with this social and ecological responsibility. A Code of Conduct based on the ILO Core Labor Standards was developed as the basis for achieving this goal. Our cosnova Sustainability Mission provides the foundation for deriving concrete measures for the three areas mentioned. During the development of the strategy, this was formulated as follows:

The Sustainability Mission helps us to anchor sustainable ways of thinking in our company, but also to do our part for a global, positive change. In 2016, the cosnova Corporate Responsibility Strategy (Sustainability Strategy) was adopted based on the previously formulated mission. Since then, we have been working continuously on the implementation of the four core topics defined therein. The following concrete measures for the implementation of the strategy were defined:
