1. Strategic Analysis and Action

The company declares whether or not it pursues a sustainability strategy. It explains what concrete measures it is undertaking to operate in compliance with key recognised sector-specific, national and international standards.

The principles of sustainability of Fair Venture s.r.o. are embedded in the purpose of establishing the company. We are family consultancy company providing external assistance in CSR and sustainability for other businesses. At this moment the sustainability strategy is not yet formulated and written down. But we are guided by our deep personal environmental values. We implemented sustainability measures in transportation. We avoid using the car as much as possible. If it is possible to use public transportation or at least combine a car with public transportation we always prefer it. We also do not have any offices so we save energy for its running. 
The sustainability strategy including Code of conduct will be made during the next two years.
The key area of our influence is in our consultancy. We want to improve sustainability as much as possible in as many companies as possible. We developed a unique way of implementing the sustainability of the company by firstly working with attitudes and state of minds of the employers. We use coaching methods, discussions, analyses. In the second step, we work with our clients on developing their sustainable strategy, implementation of particular measures and reporting. During identifying our own as well as our client´s risks and opportunities we are led by SDGs.

2. Materiality

The company discloses the aspects of its business operations that have a significant impact on sustainability issues and what material impact sustainability issues have on its operations. It analyses the positive and negative effects and provides information as to how these insights are integrated into the company’s processes.

We provide our services to SMEs in the Czech Republic in all the industrial areas. Since we are a small consultancy company, we have very limited environmental negative impacts and actually none social negative impacts. Among the environmental effects, the most important are GHG emissions produced by travelling to our clients. On the other hand, our business has a very positive effect on the impacts of the industry since we help the companies to become more sustainable. With a rising number of our clients, the rise of GHG emission caused by our transport is expected to rise as well. The solution of combination remote work and eco-friendly transport is already discussed in the company. We also constantly discuss our opportunities on how to make a positive influence on our clients more effectively.

As the main risk is we see that the rise of clients will desire more transportation of us and our employees. We already recognized this threat and explore ways of conference calls, car sharing etc.
Because of future growth, we might also need an office. In such a case we need to pick carefully to be sure its eco-friendly solution.

3. Objectives

The company discloses what qualitative and/or quantitative as well as temporally defined sustainability goals have been set and operationalised and how their level of achievement is monitored.

Our main goal is to grow our company and influence to spread the principles of sustainability among companies and build a specialised network of experts on particular topics of corporate responsibility. Another goal is to successfully launch the Sustainability Code in the Czech Republic.  We also plan to formulate and write down our own sustainability strategy and Code of Conduct.
At this moment, SDGs are not part of the Sustainability Strategy process. The reason is we do not have Sustainability strategy yet and also because we are a very small company with limited impact and do not need to incorporate such general goals. Anyway we are aware of the SDGs and work in accordance with them.

4. Depth of the Value Chain

The company states what significance aspects of sustainability have for added value and how deep in the value chain the sustainability criteria are verified.

In our consultancy services, we use our own capacities and also capacities of external experts. Everybody participating in our outputs is environmentalist in professional as well as personal live. By the whole perspective of our work we do not just advice for more sustainability but also act like that to demonstrate to our clients and other partners that the transition toward sustainability is possible to realize in every aspect of the business and on the day-to-day basis. Of course we:
-Purchase only eco-friendly office supplies.
-Provide our services remotely or on—site.
-If possible we prefer to use eco-friendly transport.
-All our recommendations are given with regards to environmental and social aspects.

At this moment we do not have a Sustainability Strategy, yet. Therefore, we have not included our supply chain in it yet. Anyway, since we are a consulting company, our suppliers are mainly other consultants with expertize in a different topic. We choose only suppliers with deep sustainability consciousness.
