cosnova Beauty GmbH was founded in 2001 by Christina Oster-Daum and Javier González together with its fully-owned subsidiary cosnova GmbH. Our company is still run by its owner and the headquarters are located in Sulzbach (Taunus)/Germany. Besides Christina Oster-Daum, the Executive Management is in the hands of Javier González, Mathias Delor, Hilko Prahl and Dirk Lauber. At the end of the 2017 fiscal year, cosnova Beauty had around 500 employees around the world. In the 2017 fiscal year, the company generated net sales of EUR 425 million with over 400 million units sold. (The figures for 2018 will be published at a later date.) cosnova has been shaping the international color cosmetics market with innovation, professionalism and passion for over 15 years. Its brands essence, CATRICE and L.O.V offer decorative cosmetics of the highest quality at an unbeatable price-performance ratio for customers all over the world. The three brands are sold at over 22,000 points of sale in more than 90 countries in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania and Africa. Our customers include drugstores, food retailers, department stores, perfumeries and fashion chains. With L.O.V, cosnova has been operating its own online shop since 2016. The essence and CATRICE brands have also followed this example, so that all brands have each had their own online shop since 2018. cosnova's main activities include the marketing, sales and procurement of decorative cosmetic products. cosnova GmbH does not have its own production site. The products are manufactured in Europe and Asia on a contract basis - 90 percent of all cosnova products are manufactured in Europe. With its global mission to offer people around the world high-quality products at affordable prices so that they can feel even more beautiful, cosnova GmbH stands for a dynamic and modern company with values that reflect today's zeitgeist. The topics of ecology and sustainability have become an integral part of current discussions and consumer requirements. In order to position the company sustainably for the future, cosnova GmbH developed a sustainability strategy in 2016. It serves as the basis for the future handling of economic, ecological and social issues and is aimed at sustainable corporate management.
