Deutsche Wohnen SE and its subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as “Deutsche Wohnen”) is currently the third largest publicly listed real estate company in Europe, based on market capitalisation. The firm is listed on the MDAX stock index of the Deutsche Börse and is headquartered in Berlin.
As of 31.12.2017, Deutsche Wohnen’s property portfolio included more than 163,000 residential and commercial units with a total value of approximately EUR 19.6 billion.a) Our portfolio also comprised nursing properties with some 6,700 bedsb) and apartments for assisted living as of 31.12.2017.
Deutsche Wohnen has a three-tier Group structure. The uppermost level consists of Deutsche Wohnen SE, comprising the divisions Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Finance, Tax, IT/Organisation, Human Resources, Marketing, Investor Relations, Corporate Communication, Strategy and Legal/Compliance. It acts as a traditional holding company. In addition to our core business areas, we operate through strategic shareholdings and offer property-related services via subsidiaries.
