KODA Stanz- und Biegetechnik GmbH offers you a motivated team, innovative manufacturing technologies and a fixed contact. From the technical design to the in-house tool construction to series production with spare parts delivery: you receive the complete support from a single source! Of course, we hold DIN ISO 9001: 2015 certification. Our strengths are precision and reliability. These core competencies are valued by our national and international customers from over 40 countries - especially from the automotive industry.
How we think. Coal, beer and steel are in the area „Ruhrgebiet“ at home. KODA too. 1.7.1955 counts as the birthday of the company. Initially they were produced under the leadership of the founders Karl Kolle feathers and stamping products in Langschede (Westphalia). The first factory of the Dortmund location was built in 1963 and was 1,500 square meters. Since 2018, KODA produce in Holzwickede with approx. 85 employees - now within over 13,000 square meters. And the company focus further on growth. We will also produce in the Ruhr area in the future, because we are aware of the responsibility for the region, for the employees and for the quality of the products. Our customers can expect to get the typical virtues of “Ruhrgebiet”-people: nativeness, honesty, hardworking hands and the heart on the right place.
What sets us apart. Forward thinking, development and moving ahead: innovation shapes our action: KODA is working closely together with the Institute of Forming Technology and Lightweight Construction at the Technical University of Dortmund. A further maxim is to raise economical and environmental awareness. We are members of Network Industry RuhrOst e.V. and in the industrial association Lightning transformation. To drive the company economically and simultaneously environmentally conscious is a further KODA maxim. We focus on our own young people. This is clear: training-on-the-job and further qualifications have a very high value for KODA. KODA delivers worldwide in more than 40 countries and enjoys a high regard in the automotive industry.
Where are our roots. The company name KODA goes back to its two founders Karl Kolle and Siegfried Dahm. Karl Kolle founded the company "Kolle & Dahm oHG" in 1955 together with the businessman Siegfried Dahm. This company initially dealt with the production of springs for car headlights. In the 1950s and early 1960s, Kolle expanded the sphere of activity of the family company towards stamping and bending products for the automotive sector - for wide use in the automotive industry. In the meantime, “KODA Stanz- und Biegetechnik GmbH” has developed into a globally acting company in the metal industry and exports to more than 40 countries. Both founders have since passed away. Karl Kolle had no children and therefore left behind a charitable foundation. The KARL-KOLLE-Foundation mainly promotes local projects in the social area as well as in areas of "science and research" and "education". We handle different types of metals with strengths of 0.3 - 8 mm. Our in-house manufactured tools reach from 100 – 4000 mm length.
