The accredited testing laboratory HygCen Germany GmbH was founded on March 7, 1996 by Prof. Dr. med. Heinz-Peter Werner as a medical specialist in hygiene based on decades of practical experience and knowledge of the real and unsecured problems of infection prevention. HygCen Germany tests and assures the quality of medical devices, disinfectants and hygiene technology such as washer-disinfectors and sterilizers. As an accredited and recognized testing laboratory, we test in accordance with European (EN) and international (ISO) norms and standards. The German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) certifies our competent, independent and impartial working methods in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025. Our guiding principle is: "To be human means to be responsible." This includes responsibility for the environment and future generations. Our responsibility as part of society therefore also requires us to pay attention to this and future generations and to carefully evaluate our use and consumption of resources
