Papier- und Kartonfabrik Varel (PKV) is a German manufacturer of paper and cardboard made from waste paper for use in the packaging industry. The company is based in Varel, Lower Saxony. Our annual production capacity is 925,000 tonnes, making us one of the largest production sites in the German paper industry. In 2020, we achieved a turnover of 293 million euros and employ more than 600 people. We produce Fluting and linerboard (white / brown) made from recovered paper, gray and brown board, pigmented, white coated and laminated grades. Our company holds the following certificates:
- FSC®-C074387 (Forest Stewardship Council - Sustainable Management of Wood Fibres).
- DIN EN ISO 9001 (quality management)
