Describe your business model (including type of company, products / services)
As a leading German manufacturer of network and security solutions, it is our declared aim and objective to provide business and public administration with a trustworthy foundation for networking and digitization. We combine traditional hardware business with sustainability topics such as virtualization, cloud and software-defined networking (SDN) to design agile networks that are highly automated, economical and flexible.
We develop routers, gateways, WLAN access points, controllers, switches and firewalls - all devices that ensure end-to-end networking and protection of infrastructures. We also provide solutions for central, highly automated network design and management. Our customers include small and medium-scale companies, public authorities, institutions and large corporations from all sectors in Germany, Europe and non-European countries.
LANCOM Systems GmbH has been operating as an independent subsidiary within the Munich-based technology group Rohde & Schwarz since 2016.
